Dillynn Moore Dillynn Moore 5'8" | OH Davenport Central | 2029 IA has been a stand out pin for all of her teams over the last few years. The six-rotation sophomore wasted no time getting to work leading her team. So it should come as no surprise that Moore led her team in most categories as a freshman. Although Dillynn is on one of the lower teams in the MAC, that doesn’t stop her from going up against some of the best with fearlessness. Moore makes sure to leave every court with absolutely no regrets.

It’d been a minute since seeing Moore compete after watching her a lot in 2025. I received an opportunity at the Prep Dig Iowa Sizzle in early August. Only a sophomore, she was leading a young Davenport Central squad at the event. Like she did in helping Iowa Select 14 Mizuno capture a regional title last year, Moore was getting the job done through six rotations. She has advanced power at the pin for a sophomore, generating it with explosion off of the court, rising up with a big vertical and following through with a heavy swing. Moore can hit her spots and locate soft areas in the defense. She reads the ball well in serve-receive and does an overall sound job in the back row. Moore is emerging as a strong net defender, too.

Moore stood out as an all-around dynamo when I watched Select win the club volleyball 14U division at the Iowa Regional in the spring. She ended points with excellent explosion off of the court and a sound swing from the pin. Moore also kept her team in system when lining up in the back row, patrolling her area and delivering clean passes. She’s used that momentum to stand out as a freshman in the state’s largest classification. Through the Blue Devils’ first 56 sets, Moore led her team with 113 kills and 116 digs. She added in 10.0 blocks for good measure. Athleticism and quickness are a big part of her game. She also flashes a high volleyball IQ and makes her teammates better.

I’ve had the chance to watch Dillynn Moore Dillynn Moore 5'8" | OH Davenport Central | 2029 IA multiple times this club season, and every time, she made an impression. As a 6-rotation outside hitter, she brings the complete package—offensive power, court awareness, and defensive consistency. Whether she’s taking a high ball out of system or passing in serve receive, Dillynn plays with confidence and control. She’s a vocal leader and carries herself like she’s been on varsity for years. As she steps into her freshman season at Davenport High School, don’t be surprised when she starts making an immediate impact.
