Usually, a kid this size might not fit on the right side because of her blocking. Not true with Miss Ferguson, as she more than makes up for it with a solid, hands-first block that rarely was out of position. On the attack, she’s more than capable of making adjustments to inconsistent setting—-which she had to do multiple times—-and still find ways to terminate the play. Eliminate her size from the equation and watch Ella play this spring; her athleticism and high volleyball IQ are more than enough to find her way to a college roster in a couple of years.
