About Elle
Expert Analysis
Michelle Bamford | Prep Dig Scout
Elle plays with urgency, speed, and a competitive edge that fuels the gym. When I watch her play, you can feel a good outcome coming just from the way she moves. She is working hard on sharpening her timing so she can be earlier and more available as a scoring threat. She is also focused on staying vocal, positive, and ready every play, and she absolutely brought that to the clinic.
“I compete with intensity. I always find a way to make an impact on the court.”
Elle wants coaches to notice her ability to terminate on the right side, along with her consistent energy and communication. Her mindset is simple. Play for her team. Stay locked in. Earn points when they matter.
Elle brings fire to every possession and continues to elevate her game physically and emotionally.

, opposite for Tstreet 15-Wes, thrived on structure and intention. Her team studied film, scouted opponents, and drilled fundamentals. “Mental toughness and communication were just as important as physical training.” Their group became the only Tstreet team across all locations to make the Gold Bracket on Championship Day. “We didn’t take a single point for granted.”
Elle played with pride, urgency, and joy, qualities that elevated her team and proved she could perform at the highest level. She added, “Shoutout to Coach Cesar, who came in halfway through our season and made all the difference for us! We love you!”

quickly found her passion for the sport, leading her to join a club team by age 11. Now, entering her fourth season of club volleyball, she has spent three seasons with the
Tstreet Volleyball Club
‘s 1’s team. Elle’s motivation stems from a love for the game, enjoyment of team dynamics, and the inspiration she finds in watching college volleyball. She aspires to play for the University of Miami like her favorite player, Grace Lopez.
Transitioning from middle school to high school varsity volleyball has presented several challenges for Elle, including increased physical demands and higher skill levels. She has worked on enhancing her speed, strength, and mental toughness to adapt. Overcoming these challenges has involved extra practice, feedback from coaches, and support from teammates. Essential skills for making the varsity team include technical abilities like serving, passing, hitting, and blocking, combined with strong court awareness and volleyball IQ. Elle also demonstrates key personal qualities such as dedication, work ethic, resilience, and a positive attitude.
Balancing academics and volleyball requires Elle to practice excellent time management, prioritize tasks, create a study schedule, and communicate effectively with her teachers. Her parents play a crucial support role, helping manage both school and sports responsibilities. Elle also emphasizes the importance of nutrition and rest to maintain peak performance.
For the current season, Elle’s goals are for her team, the Bonita Bearcats, to win their league and advance to the playoffs. Personally, she aims to grow as a player, particularly as she transitions from a middle blocker to a right-side hitter.
In her own words: “I would like to give a special shoutout to the Seniors, especially Sadie Harper and Kaelyn Scoffinger. Sadie and Kaelyn took me in from day one, they cheer me on, they welcomed me to the team like I had already been there and made me feel like a part of their volleyball family. I am so lucky to have the most amazing teammates!”

As a member of the TStreet Inland Empire 14-1 Team, my journey has been filled with dedication and hard work. I am the starting middle blocker for my team. From our team practices to gym workouts with a personal trainer, every aspect of my training regimen plays a crucial role in my development as a volleyball player. In addition to team practices and workouts, I also attend private individual training with Raki Volleyball. Training with Raki allows me to individualize my training and get unbiased and honest feedback about my performance.
Our team practices 3 days a week. The practices are intense and focused, allowing us to improve our skills and develop chemistry on the court. Chemistry with my teammates is so important. We have to be able to count on each other and trust each other. My coach, Cynthia Giron, drills into us that it’s always the team before me. She also inspires me to be a strong confident woman. My gym workouts are designed to improve my strength and agility, including plyometric training which helps enhance my explosiveness and vertical jump. I incorporate a lot of jump squats, sumo squats, sprint drills, and cardio for endurance. Nutrition is extremely important as fueling my body properly is essential for peak performance. I try to make sure I’m eating a good balance of protein and carbs. I like peanut butter, protein bars, milk, and fruits like bananas and apples.
Overall, my training routine is challenging but necessary if I want to be the best volleyball player I can be. I am excited about the opportunity to inspire others with my dedication and hard work, and I look forward to sharing my story with your audience.
