About Emma

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I have a great blend of athletic skill, strategic intelligence, and leadership that allows me to orchestrate the team's offense. I adapt well to different passes, read the opposing defense, and I utilize a variety of sets to put my hitters in the best position to score.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have great leadership, confidence, tactical awareness and unwavering determination. I am calm and in-control. I communicate effectively, make split-second strategic decisions to exploit opponent weaknesses, I have a relentless work ethic and a positive, stable attitude under pressure. I also take accountability for my mistakes.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have played for Nebraska One for the past years I am however moving on to a new club. I was asked to join the Lincoln Vipers Volleyball Club for this upcoming year. I’m excited to try new things.

We lauded the youth movement for this year’s Lincoln Standing Bear squad, but the Grizzlies have some rising seniors to watch, too. Kesler gives the team some fascinating lineup flexibility. She ran offenses throughout our Exposure Tour, but Kesler is also a tremendous floor defender who does her best work in Zone 1. No matter which position she embraces in the Nebraska ONE gym this spring, Kesler is sure to reappear during our in-season coverage.
