O’Connor (*pictured) is athletic with good physicality in her arm work in the air offensively. She is a fluid attacker in her movement patterns around her setter to be able to option a variety of locations with similar terminal results. Through a big runway in her approach action, she has good vision and momentum build to be able to lift and control her arm into space and with complete court range.

So athletic.  The middle blocker out of De Pere High School in the Green Bay area brings a long wing span, quick lateral speed, and jumps like a deer.  She has played her club ball for FC Elite where she was able to show her versatility out of the middle.  So far this high school season she is leading the Redbirds in blocks and hitting efficiency.  

Erin O’Connor Erin O’Connor MB De Pere | 2027 State WI is set to play a major role for De Pere this fall. She finished last season, averaging 2.0 kills per set with a strong .174 hitting percentage. O’Connor brings a fiery spirit and one powerful swing, making her a clear offensive weapon at the net and someone opponents will have to game plan for this upcoming season.

I was able to catch a highlight of Erin O’Connor Erin O’Connor MB De Pere | 2027 State WI of FC Elite 16 Navy win a joust at the net which goes to show her athleticism and physicality at the net.  O’Connor is a middle blocker who is extremely dynamic.  She can block, swing on the pin, and score points out of the middle.  She has been a great addition to FC Elite 16 Navy this season where they will be in the open division in Dallas in a few weeks.  I think she has a huge upside to her game where she will be continuing her trajectory onward and upward. 

Erin jumped from #60 to #38 in the rankings. Her athleticism and physicality at the net alone make her stand out as a middle. Add in her court awareness and volleyball IQ, and she is one of the top middles in the class. Her positive impact can be felt in nearly every aspect of the game. Erin works to set her team up for success on defense with her explosive movement across to seal the net on the block. She is also very active and efficient on offense.

Get ready to know Erin O’Connor Erin O’Connor MB De Pere | 2027 State WI out of De Pere who will be playing for FC Elite 16 Navy.  She had a big high school season at De Pere where she was able to play out of the middle and outside.  She will most likely see time out of the middle where her athleticism allows her to get from pin to pin and transition to hit a variety of tempos in front and behind the setter.  Her ceiling is real high where her development will be exciting to see over the next couple of seasons.
