Negron’s floater was among the most impressive in the entire event, and she got to ace some of the best liberos out there when they were working together in a serve and pass drill. She was very aggressive with her serving, but also showed great awareness, knowing when to push and where to direct her serves. Negron also stood out in her defensive role, showing great consistency and making very few errors. Very quick and dynamic, she got many touches on defense and also performed very well in serve-receive.

Negron played for the Catalyst 16 Green side that ranked third with two wins and a loss. Her quickness in the back row was the most impressive aspect of her game and allowed her to touch on many balls on defense. Negron also showed excellent ball control, passing at a high level and successfully handling the many swings that went her way. Communication was another of her strengths as the libero consistently talked to her teammates between points, discussing adjustments and encouraging them.
