About Genesis

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I like to have fun, but at the same time be considered dependable when it matter most for my team. I take pride in my ability to cover the court and help put points on the board whenever I can.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am fun and positive. Keeping good energy on the court and on the sideline is important.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

this semester I was inducted in to the National Honor Society chapter of my school. Perfect attendance for the year, and I am involved in DECA at my school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

This year I was proud to be nominated team captain. I have recently coached a 10U team and we won the championship, I was very proud of that.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

This year I had an appendectomy, and then a follow up operation to get an infection. This all happened before my junior season started. I had to recover mentally and physically from two surgeries. Thank God, I am healthy again and was able to compete in my junior year of high school.

What type of college are you looking for?

A school with a good pre-law program. I want to be a lawyer, so this is very important to me.
