Duncan fits the all-around mold of many other exceptional outside hitters at River City Jrs . We got a good look at Duncan’s attacking range and passing skills when she appeared on last year’s Prep Dig Circuit. She has now applied that versatile skillset to River City Jrs 16 Navy, which challenged itself in Omaha’s 16 Open division. The President’s Day grind will prepare Duncan and her squad for more breakthroughs in the Great Plains scene.

Bring on the next wave of River City Jrs standouts. Duncan is a past participant on the Prep Dig Circuit and has applied her varied skills to the 2024 club season. She sees the opposing block well and compiles clutch kills for 15 Navy. Duncan will also not shy away from going pass-to-attack as a frontcourt hitter. Her stock has risen toward the end of the year and should keep going up on the prep side.

She showcased that range when she competed at one of our Prep Dig Showcase events, which helped her capture our early attention. Duncan has kept improving since that event and has not relinquished her attacking role with River City Jrs 15 Navy. We’ll see which niche prevails moving forward.

The freshman defender proved her ability to lock down the serve receive pattern in any zone while providing similar value with transition digs. Duncan’s prep future is with Papillion-La Vista, which is no stranger to talented liberos.

This has been the feature for players with a ton of all-around skills, so let’s wrap up with one more. Duncan is not afraid to get up with her five-foot-six frame and make some heavy swings on at the net, which is the mark of a confident player. But, like many of the 2027s at our showcase, Duncan also embraced contact as a backcourt defender and made some solid passes in serve receive.
