She stuff blocked several balls in the win and built excitement on the visiting sidelines. Griffin also does a good job mixing in hard and soft swings. She does not hesitate to tip balls over double blocks if defensive specialists are playing back. Her development has come a long way. Griffin said sound blocking is a matter of adjusting and moving toward the hitters and big blocks boost a team’s energy.

Griffin takes nice approaches to the net then finds different ways to place balls to different places on the court. She can roll shots to corners and take hard shots using a good wrist snap. Griffin is also not afraid to turn her body at the last second to hit balls away from defensive specialists. Developing a quicker rhythm will help out Griffin these next three years.
