We're well into week two of the direct contact period for the class of ‘28. That certainly doesn't mean that any other class should shy away from the recruiting spotlight. Here are five pin attackers from the class of ‘29 that are raising their stocks so that they CAN receive that call next summer.

Although considered undersized by today's standards, AC has the ability to be a six-rotation outside for most next-level schools in the fall of ‘29. Athletically, she's on point, with quick transition footwork and a springy jump. On defense, she reads and reacts with some of the best in her class, while also staying within herself and doing what it takes for her TI squad to score points. The little things—-the stuff that gets overlooked in a stat sheet—-are what she does best, and should be considered “the glue” for whatever roster she finds herself on for the rest of her career.

Athletic and quick, Anna's ability to turn defense into offense in the blink of an eye is fun to watch. I know, I know, she's not that big. What the casual observer doesn't know is that her relentless play and never-ending supply of energy for each and every point can place her in a bunch of different positional situations, making her stock rise with her ability to do a little of everything on the volleyball court. I look forward to her first varsity season this coming fall and how she adjusts to big girl play.

If you want a heavy-hitting thumper for an outside, look no further than Gia. She's got size, skill, length and a very strong shoulder that hits a heavy ball that's hard to defend because of the pace alone. Looking more and more of a prototypical D1 outside every day I see her play, Miss Stokes should be one of the first off of the “big board” at this time next summer.

I get it, I'm a little biased towards the Center Grove kids because of where I live. In Abby's case, hear me out. She might be the smallest on this list, but easily the most energetic. If there was a picture of what an “Athletic Gym Rat” would look like, it's Abby. With a full-go an no-quit attitude poured into each and every point, I would be honored to have this kid on my roster for what she brings to the practice gym alone. “Bangs” is flat-out fun to watch, and will be for you when you see her in the first session of GJNCs here in Indy, starting on Thursday.

One of the few pure attackers on this list, Miss Evans takes advantage of each and every inch of her height and attack touch by hitting high and hard regularly. With time and maturity, her legs strength and lift will catch up to her already strong upper body, but that will come with time and training. For now, expect to see Elizabeth terminate often in all set types, at all angles and with every different type of on- and off-speed shot one can create from one position.
