A do everything outside hitter, Gianna is going to be a 6 rotational star in the coming years and a name to for sure know over the next year. She is already a full 6’1 and moves with the ability and grace of someone who is not 6’1. She is a very fluid with all her movement and has a great physical presence to her game with her ability to swing hard and aggressive as well. She also moves efficiently in serve receive and will in turn transition quickly into attack to score points. She has a very powerful arm swing and really can hit the full range of shots we look for in older girls, let alone a middle schooler. She isn’t afraid of a block and can also go through it when the time calls for it. A offensive force to say the least at the showcase.

Gianna most importantly showed the ability to carry the offensive load while remaining engaged in all six rotations. She demonstrated solid platform control and consistently delivered accurate passes that allowed her setters to run the full offense when we were in game play. I didn’t see too many passes that were on a high level which is just a testament to her overall ability. Long term, she is a high-ceiling pin hitter with the ability to impact the match as both an attacker and a passer and is going to be a big time name in Arizona over the next few years.

Despite being one of the youngest players in the gym, Gianna Galli Gianna Galli 6'1" | OH AZ delivered one of the most impressive offensive performances of the showcase. From the moment she stepped on the court, she played with a confidence and maturity that far exceeded her age. She never looked overwhelmed by the competition and consistently found ways to make an impact against older, experienced athletes.

What immediately stood out was her attacking ability. Mechanically, Gianna showcased some of the cleanest and most polished hitting technique on her court. Her approach was explosive and efficient, allowing her to generate impressive power while maintaining control and consistency. Every swing appeared intentional, whether she was attacking aggressively, working around a block, or placing the ball into open space. She demonstrated the ability to score from multiple angles, confidently attacking both line and cross-court while displaying a well-rounded offensive arsenal.

Beyond the physical tools, Gianna showed a strong understanding of the game. She didn’t simply rely on power; she made smart decisions, adjusted to the defense in front of her, and played with a level of poise that is uncommon for an athlete her age. Her ability to combine athleticism, technique, and volleyball IQ made her one of the more intriguing prospects we watched throughout the event.

The future is incredibly bright for Gianna. With her advanced skill set, competitive mindset, and room for continued growth, she is undoubtedly a player who should remain on everyone’s radar. We have a feeling this is only the beginning, and she’s a name volleyball fans will be hearing for years to come.
