Schulz is a fiery lefty that can do it all. She presents with an exceptional “all around” game and isn’t just a one-note player or that athlete that can ONLY set. While she can definitely dish up assists and run a highly effective offense, she can also hit, serve, and play tremendous defense. This past weekend she showcased all of those skills and did an exceptional job leading her team. They are fun to watch as she connects well with each player and puts them in the best position to score.

Schulz does not waste time and she gets down to business right away. She commands the court and she provides a positive presence every time she enters the gym. Schulz has nice hands and a ton of potential. I don’t know if I’ve seen Schulze play live with her team since last February but she always impresses me. I can’t wait to see what the season has in store.

Haillie is a setter who immediately grabbed our attention and earned her spot as one to watch. She stood out as the top setter, effortlessly connecting with every hitter as if she’d been playing with them for years. Schulz is a natural leader when she steps on the court no matter the circumstances. She commands control and operates as a very physical setter with solid technique and great footwork. Schulz connects well with just about any hitter she dishes to and she can run any tempo from pin to pin.

I look forward to seeing Schulz play club in 2025. She grew a lot last season in terms of confidence and set location consistency. Schulz has great hustle and work ethic to make her team and teammates better whenever she is around.
