Haleigh Kiewiet Haleigh Kiewiet 5'9" | MB/OH Grundy Center | 2029 IA is another oppo that brings a power presence to the net. She isn’t the tallest (especially when standing next to teammate Ryanne Brubaker Ryanne Brubaker 6'8" | MB/RS Grundy Center | 2027 State IA ), but that doesn’t stop her from being a strong contributor for the Spartans. Kiewiet brings a disciplined and powerful block to the right side and isn’t afraid to take big swings. With her being only a sophomore and being a true piece of the varsity program, I am very excited to see how she contributes in the postseason.

CIA’s 14U team will have great memories from the 2026 season that will last a lifetime. They will include reaching the gold bracket in the USA Division at USAV Junior Nationals, where it finished fifth, tops for the club this year. Kiewiet played an important role in the great run. She has a keen feel for match flow in the middle of the net, getting to her spots. Kiewiet makes herself available for the setter to end points with an impressive swing. Her timing and read on the block leads to consistent success. Kiewiet is one to watch moving forward. She saw varsity time on as a freshman last season for a Grundy Center team that reached the state semifinals.
