Isabel Yeung made the switch from setter to libero only a season ago, and the growth since has been significant. She now moves faster, covers more court, and reads the game with a clarity that reflects real repetition, not just natural instinct. She thrives on the team-first nature of volleyball and finds genuine satisfaction in the process of getting better, which means a mistake doesn’t rattle her. It becomes information she uses to adjust. She has become a steady presence for her teammates, using eye contact in serve receive and encouraging words in the huddle to keep everyone centered, and her own commitment to improvement has raised the standard for those around her. Isabel is pairing her volleyball goals with strong academic priorities, targeting schools with high academic standards, and she brings the same focus to her game. Her instincts inside the sport are sharp. Her presence outside of it will only get louder as more coaches see what she does on the court.

Isabel Yeung Isabel Yeung 5'5" | DS/L San Luis Obispo | 2028 CA earned Top Performer at the NorCal StockUp Showcase, August 14, 2026.

Isabel plays with an aggressive mentality in the back row, which is exactly the kind of identity college coaches look for in a defensive specialist. She communicates well and reads blocks early, which lets her set her hitters up with clean, playable positions instead of scrambling to recover. Her feet are shifty and quick, and her serve receive stays smooth even under pressure. She shows good hands out of system, which tells a coach she can be trusted when a play breaks down and the ball does not come to her in rhythm.

Isabel Yeung Isabel Yeung 5'5" | DS/L San Luis Obispo | 2028 CA joins the showcase with a clear sense of what she is looking for. She plays libero and defensive specialist for San Luis Obispo High School and 805 Elite Volleyball, and her path into recruiting has been a deliberate one. She started club volleyball about three years ago, improved quickly, and only began seriously considering college volleyball last year. She built highlight videos and started emailing schools a few months ago, but her list is narrow by design. She prioritizes academics and has reached out to schools with high academic standards. She has not heard back from most of them yet, and she is choosing fit over volume heading into StockUp.
