Cicherski will be with TW Skyline 18 Royal team that will fight for a bid this weekend. She’s an incredibly technical setter, who has some of the best setting hands in her age group in the Houston area and does whatever it takes to get her hitters in a good position to score. Cicherski is very intelligent and one of the things that set her apart from many other setters is her ability to understand what’s going on on the court and adjust on the fly. She also plays great defense at the right back position and generates many transition plays for her team.

Cicherski will be setting for The Woodlands Skyline 18 Royal in the 18 USA division. An extremely technical and intelligent player, she’s the type of setter that makes her hitters better with her game. Also a track and field student-athlete, she’s more athletic than people give her credit for and has incredible mobility on the court. Cicherski also has a very high volleyball IQ and is capable of adjusting the game plan on the fly and figuring things out by herself when things aren’t going her team’s way. She’s a solid server and defender too.

Cicherski and her The Woodlands Skyline 18 Royal team got two wins in four matches in the 18s divisions and I got to watch them in a tough moment against Houston Skyline 18 Black. I really liked how, despite not having good passes to work with, the setter continued to try and find solutions for their offense. Despite the difficult conditions, Cicherski remained calm and precise and played a solid match. She was also very active and productive on the backcourt, contributing with her serving and defense.

Even though she was playing one age group up, Cicherski did a great job running the offense of her H Skyline 17 White team which finished third. She’s very quick with her mind and her feet, being able to see the game before everyone else and execute with great efficiency. Her playmaking was very creative as she often looked for unexpected plays to get her hitters in the best possible position to score and, even when she seemed to have forced a set a little bit, she was still accurate enough. Cicherski also worked hard on defense, getting a lot of touches from her right back position.
