She has an expansive range covering tips, get down low to dig out big swings and can take a large part of the court in serve receive. This is an excellent WVBA 18 team competing in the 18 Club, Martin will play a big part as they push for a first place finish.

Martin played with a high intensity and precision focus, always covering her hitters and communicating with her team. She is detailed in her serve receive, with a sound platform and high volleyball IQ. If there is any chance she might be able to get to a ball, she will always go, and often makes an incredible one-handed stab. Martin is a well-trained, high-level defender who plays the game all out!

The Eastlake junior put up some ridiculous dig numbers this season, with a 35 dig effort against Newport as one of her highlights. Like the top defenders at the position, she is quick to cover her teammates, willing to get on the ground for the big save and has a solid platform in serve receive. She has a strong frame and can take serves and hard shots overhand easily.
