Miss Williams earned her Top Performer award on effort, instinct, and the refusal to let any ball hit the floor without a fight. The 5’3″ defensive specialist from Duncanville competing with 360 Volleyball this past season brought relentless energy to every drill and scrimmage segment of the day and her floor coverage and platform mechanics held up consistently against a level of competition that tests those skills honestly. She reads hitters and servers very early, she moves quickly, and her communication with the players around her was one of the standout qualities court coaches mentioned throughout their evaluations. There is nothing passive about the way she plays the game and that competitive intensity is exactly what the Top Performer recognition is designed to reward. Jordyn Williams, a hustle player out of Ducanville, that is ready for the up tempo games. Moving through plays with all out effort and sticking to her fundamentals when she plays the ball. Doing whatever it takes to keep the ball in play and elevating the energy with every point. Jordyn stays on her toes and keep the ball in front of her from every angle. She moves with confidence and is sure to be heard as play progresses. Energy, tempo, and fundamentals are the key to her game, and have shown to work in her favor.

Williams will be part of the Duncanville High School team and most recently represented 360 Volleyball Club at the club level. She was one of the standouts in our Next Up Showcase last year and continues to evolve in the libero position. Williams is very confident in serve-receive, taking a large portion of the court and using her excellent mobility and ball control to deliver accurate passes to her setter. She also makes an impact when playing defense at the left back position with her solid positioning and seems to always be in the right places to dig the ball.

Miss Williams is currently an unranked prospect in the 2030 class according to our Texas State Rankings, but that is only because we have not released her class.  She plays volleyball at Kennemer School and currently plays for the 360 volleyball club. There are those players who stand out no matter what court they are on and that is exactly who Jordyn is.  As I went from court to court, certain players stood out for different reasons.  As a defender, Jordyn was stellar in how she pursued the ball with relentless effort.  When you watch her play, you can tell that she really loves the game.  Its exuded in every movement she makes on the court.  I moved her to the top court with different players to see how she would react and she looked right at home.  She proved that she belonged with the best.  We will definitely be watching her volleyball journey as she continues to progress.  Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award at our showcase.
