Over decades of talent evaluation, I’ve always gravitated towards setters, especially since I used to be one. Of the setters in this particular class, Josie is one of those that immediately caught my eye during this update cycle. Tall, long, lean and athletic, Miss Garber understands the mechanics better than a lot of setters in any class, and her techniques look nearly perfected. Her size alone will have many recruiters gravitating to her court, and the skill set will keep them there. Josie’s an up-and-coming setter in this class, and I fear that I’ve ranked her too low initially to reflect how accomplished she is.

With smooth footwork and buttery soft hands, Josie has “the look” of a next-level setter, and acts as such when playing. Her location is solid, she can get to any tight pass with her length and jumping ability, and defends her position better than most setters in this or any class.
