Her quick left arm has evolved into a go-to option for the 17 Black offense, especially against physical teams at January’s Northern Lights Qualifier. The Lincoln Southeast product is a natural opposite who is ready-made for the big stage.

If you’re partial to high-flying lefty opposites, Porter is the one to watch from Nebraska’s Class of 2025. She’s another fresh face in the VCNebraska lineup that has provided an instant boost to 17 Black’s offense behind the setter. Porter is touching new heights in 2024 and is particularly lethal when given a window to hit into the crosscourt. An impressive weekend in Minneapolis will have Porter and 17 Black climbing the ladder heading into the spring.
