Foley got a lot out of her trip to Omaha with Lincoln East. The sophomore pin hitter thrived on the right side and was particularly dominant in Saturday’s contest against Millard West. High school teams don’t often wield right-side attackers out of the back row, but the Spartans defied that trend by feeding Foley on the ‘D’ ball. Not only was Foley a strong right-back attacker, but her stout defense made her an asset in every phase. Expect a few more sophomore stock risers from the Star City.

Premier Nebraska 15 Gold will compete in GJNC’s 15 USA division after a reallocated bid from the Northern Lights Qualifier. This gives us another chance to watch 15 Gold’s deep cast of right-side hitters, and Foley will factor heavily in this equation. The Lincoln East product has a natural approach behind the setter and has expanded her range throughout the 2025 season. Foley knows how to find small seams along the net, even when teams put up a well-formed block in front of her. Distribution and balance will be key as Premier Nebraska sharpens its craft for USAV Nationals.

Premier Nebraska 15 Gold has not shied away from challenging competition this year. This group battled at Triple Crown NIT and has played up multiple age groups at the Midwest Power League. Such an environment has suited Foley well. The Lincoln East opposite elevates well on the right side and has a knack for finding open seams in the block. Foley has also had ample experience squaring up against elite outside attackers across the net. 15 Gold’s bid-hunting journey is about to begin, and this high-flying hitter will be an important contributor to the effort.
