Arens impressed me when watching her during the Benton tournament last season. She did the same during another in-person scouting opportunity at the Westside Invite on Oct. 11, 2025 in Cedar Rapids. The senior setter showed she could deliver precise sets from all around the court, and an ability to read the defense led to feeding attackers with an advantage. Arens’ feel for the position is advanced. Taller with long arms, she can create offense with her swing or dump the ball into the donut. Those assets also aid her when defending at the net, where she produced 20.0 blocks through 86 sets this season. Her 154 digs illustrated her defensive chops in the back row.
