Waak and her Katy team completed their campaign in the event with three wins and five losses. The tallest player on the team, she was an important weapon for them and did a good job of making the most of her length to score points. Waak benefited from her high contact point to overcome blockers and was able to put a lot of power into her swings, making it hard for defenders to control them. The right side hitter also did well when hitting from the middle in some combination plays and had a solid blocking presence. Waak displayed good ball control when she had to make the first contact, producing some digs when peeling off the net and handling free ball efficiently.
