With five wins and three losses, Evans’ Dallas Skyline 17 Royal – Ping side tied for fifth, claiming a spot in the Nationals. A taller libero, she made the most of her length to extend her defensive range, getting to balls well outside her body. Evans was very quick and dynamic on the back row, too, recovering many deflected shots and keeping tips off the floor. The libero showed great technical skills in serve-receive, handling tough serves very efficiently.

Karsyn Evans Karsyn Evans 5'9" | DS/L Aledo | 2027 State TX is a standout DS/L for Skyline Juniors, and a true defensive specialist. She has an exceptional ability to be wherever the play is unfolding. Karsyn is consistently putting herself in position to make crucial touches. Comfortable and confident taking the second ball, she keeps the offense in system while bringing the nonstop energy required to command the back row. Her defensive reads are sharp and instinctive, allowing her to anticipate attacks before they develop. Her calm, controlled passing provides setters with the consistency needed to run an effective offense.

Miss Evans has moved up in the State Rankings due to some great achievements.  She is now currently ranked as the 34^th best overall player according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings.  She plays at Aledo High School and for the Dallas Skyline volleyball club program.  Recently she chose to play college volleyball at Texas Tech University and they will love the attributes that she brings to the table for their squad.  The sixth ranked libero in the state of Texas can really fly around the court and is solid in every aspect of back row play.  The balance that she plays the game with helps to keep her ball control very consistent.  At the service line, she is pinpoint accurate and can drop some crazy short zones when called upon to do so.  We have seen her take over matches on the defensive side of the ball routinely with some amazing emergency techniques and fast twitch reflexes.  She made the choice very easy to move her up the list.  Please help us congratulate her on moving up the State Ranking List.
