Kassidy Reynolds Kassidy Reynolds 5'10" | MB Hughes Middle School | 2031 CA is a developing middle who’s already showing the kind of work ethic and curiosity that turn raw talent into long-term success. She’s focused on improving her defensive passing so she can stay live in rallies and contribute in the back row, a rare and valuable skill for a middle. The showcase gave her high-caliber reps and a real sense of the pace required to compete with rising talent. “I started playing in September 2024 and I’m eager to show how much I’ve improved,” she said, and that motivation is evident in how she approaches every rep.

Kassidy plays with joy, humility, and a strong sense of awareness on both sides of the net. She’s determined to be remembered as a kind, effective, and reliable teammate who continues to raise her ceiling with each opportunity. Her goal this season is to make the 13-1s Rockstar team and hit a 10-foot vertical, a mark that would elevate her from promising to powerful.
Fun fact: She can play “Careless Whisper” on saxophone and “Never Gonna Give You Up” on clarinet — two songs as memorable as her effort and personality on the court.

Kassidy Reynolds Kassidy Reynolds 5'10" | MB Hughes Middle School | 2031 CA – May be new to the sport, but her progress has been remarkable. Since starting volleyball in September 2024, she has been focused on improving her all-around game, with special attention on her defensive passing. “My goal is to become a middle who can rotate to the back row and effectively stay in play,” Reynolds said. That versatility is already becoming part of her identity as a player.

At the SoCal UpNext Showcase, she showed strong court awareness and a steady presence, while also displaying the kindness and teamwork she hopes coaches will remember about her. She has set ambitious goals for the season, including earning a spot on the 13-1s Rockstar team with her club and reaching a 10-foot vertical after already touching 9’4” during her 12’s year. Kassidy gets on top of the ball and can consistently put it down with a high reach and a strong snap. Already 5’10” with a solid vertical, she was hitting over blocks and giving opponents no chance to defend. Kassidy is bouncy, athletic, and has all the tangibles you look for in a middle.
