We didn’t know what to expect from RISE 712 16-1 heading into the early-season Iowa Clash, but Eischeid quickly brought her team into the coverage spotlight. Southpaw opposites are always fun to watch in a fast-paced showcase, as they bring different angles and tempos for players to solve. Eischeid filled that niche at Sunday’s showcase, carving inside blockers with incredible efficiency. It evoked memories of RISE 712’s quick start in Iowa Clash pool play, where Eischeid’s lefty hammer established the standard.

Eischeid jumped out to me early when scouting the Prep Dig Iowa Stock Up Showcase during July in Clive. She really exploded off of the court into an impressive vertical leap with hang time. The operation allowed her to maximize a big lefty swing that produced power. Eischeid had a clear idea where she wanted to put the ball down based on excellent reading of the defense. She also flashed a knack for putting up a productive block. The opposite pin looks like a natural fit, but she also showed an aptitude for connecting on the outside as well.

We couldn’t miss the opportunity to cover RISE’s high-flying opposite. Eischeid exhibited a knack for finding open windows at the net and snapping on the ball with incredible pace. That range made her a matchup nightmare at the Iowa Clash, and RISE 712 took full advantage. Look out for Eischeid’s underdog team in future regional battles.

From the sideline, Keagan Eischeid Keagan Eischeid 6'0" | RS/MB IKM-Manning | 2028 IA ‘s presence at the net is immediate. She establishes a strong base in her approach and stays loaded through her last two steps, allowing her to generate lift and contact high above the tape. What stands out most is her willingness to swing into a formed block and work high hands rather than avoiding pressure.

Defensively, Eischeid closes well from the right pin, sealing the line and pressing inside hands to eliminate sharp cross-court angles. She reloads quickly in transition, staying available after block touches instead of drifting.
