About Kelsey

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a hustler and will go anywhere to get that second ball. I try very hard to communicate with my teammates in every situation.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Every time I do something not as efficiently as I’d like to, I just lean on my teammates and tell myself “Next ball.”

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Volleyball has made me mentally stronger and more open to stepping out of my comfort zone in ways I never thought I would.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My main challenge in volleyball is unfortunately my height. Since I am an undersized setter, it is harder for me to do things in the front row, like dumping or blocking. I always try my best though.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m not particularly sure quite yet.
