This was an encore performance for Cattau. The Class of 2030 hasn’t officially entered our coverage sphere yet, but Cattau was one of the rare 2030s to appear on last year’s Prep Dig Circuit. Even while sparring with older competitors, this outside hitter delivered a performance that immediately put her on our radar in 2025. Cattau has somehow become even more dominant. The Shelby-Rising City freshman-to-be is ready to make her mark in Class C2 with her rocket arm and fearless attitude. She was among the most vocal terminators at the Stock Up Showcase, making clear calls about the sets she needed. It’s no wonder why Cattau was a featured force on VCNebraska’s top 14s team.

VCNebraska 13 Elite doubled up with Cattau adding to the Great Plains representation. This future Shelby-Rising City standout proved she has the ceiling and determination to be an elite scorer at the prep level. Cattau wielded impressive cross-court heat during Saturday’s hitting lines and translated that into effective termination in an in-game environment. She is a carbon copy of what we’d expect from a VCNebraska outside hitter: athletic, quick off the floor, and a willingness to contribute to any phase of the game.
