About Larkin

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Young 10th grader. Able to play all 6 rotations. Court aware with broad shot selection.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Growth mindset! I try to approach volleyball and most everything with those concepts in mind. I focus on learning and improving- knowing my journey is my own. I believe in consistency, positivity and putting in the work to be the best I can be. I remind myself that challenges are opportunities to grow stronger and smarter.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Im active with my church community. Im interested in HOSA and hope to join the organization this year.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Significant...no. Im lucky to not have had any significant challenges or setbacks in life. If I had, I think I would approach them the all the same. Rely on my family, friends and faith. Work to be positive and see the good in what has come.

What type of college are you looking for?

One who can support me academically and athletically. I want to play volleyball, but I also want a career one day.

Larking Rupert brought physicality and competitive edge that was evident from the first rotation. Her arm swing is fast and aggressive, and she consistently attacked seams in the block rather than forcing low-percentage swings. She showed an advanced feel for timing her approach off different set heights, a skill that separated her in fast-paced sequences.

Defensively, Rupert was relentless. She pursued balls outside her zone, stayed low through contact, and transitioned immediately into attack. Her energy lifted her group, and she embraced the grind of extended rallies — the type of athlete who never takes a play off and raises the floor of the entire lineup. ~Theresa @prepdigdakotas
