Miss Davis is exceptionally strong at the net due to her raw natural power in her entire body. A couple of things I love about her play is how focused she is at the net when the ball is on the opponents side. You can see her eyes reading and processing to get into a great position to play the upcoming attack. When she does decide to move laterally, it is like watching an explosion out of a cannon with her footwork. That first step is lethal when going to close the block. In the event that the distance is a little too far to cover, she will make it up with solid arm movement to close the block. Her play has pushed us to place her on our official Watch List. I am eagerly anticipating watching her compete at the showcase and think she will increase the competitive level with what I see so far. Stay tuned for more on her play.
