Marshall consistently puts a high level program on the court and has found its way to State several times in recent years. With Stelter at the helm of the offense, we expect them to be in the mix once again. Surrounded by a talented group of pins and middles, Stelter has plenty of weapons at her disposal and she knows how to use them. She has strong court awareness, reads the defense well, and does a great job getting all of her attackers involved. Her game IQ and ability to distribute the ball make the offense difficult to predict.

I watched Stetler compete at AAU Nationals in Florida last month and came away impressed with her competitiveness, volleyball IQ, and court awareness. She does a good job tracking down balls all over the court, gets her feet to the ball and delivers hittable sets to her attackers. She also shows great feel for the game by finding her middles even when she’s forced off the net. Stetler will suit up for Marshall this fall, and regardless of which level she lands on, she has the work ethic and skill set to make a significant impact.
