Expert Analysis
Kantessa Bryant-Miller | Prep Dig Scout
Leimaile is a blocking machine, dominating at the net with her ability to get completely over it and press the ball straight down. Standing at 6’2″ with an impressive vertical leap, it’s no easy task for opponents to get much past her. When attacking, she opens up fully to the setter and rotates her hips for maximum power, a clear sign of solid training and technique.
Along with her skills as a middle blocker, Leimaile can also play right side effectively, demonstrating her athleticism and versatility. Her adaptability makes her a key asset to any team, capable of excelling in multiple roles on the court. She’s going to be a difference-maker on this stacked club team. Leimaile is committed to Stony Brook University.

WL ➡️ #24
Leimaile had a strong sophomore season, finishing in top 25 in state for blocks. Although an ACL surgery sidelined her for her junior school season, she returned stronger than ever during her club season with Tstreet. The versatile 6’2″ senior excels at both opposite and middle positions. Her height paired with her vertical leap is a huge advantage, allowing her to hit over and around even the toughest blocks. Her contributions helped her team secure a bid to Nationals, where they finished sixth in their division. Recently committed to Stony Brook University, this dedicated athlete will have one more chance to compete for her high school team.

Leimaile has shown exceptional versatility this season, performing at a high level as both an opposite and middle hitter for her team. Her combination of power and a quick arm swing frequently defeats blocks. On right side, she hits well and can adjust to inside sets with ease. In middle, she can hit quickly to the right or left before the defense is even set. In both positions, she contributes significantly with big blocks at the net. I’m excited to see her in either position at the tournament.
