Lila Dalager Lila Dalager S Thief River Falls | 2027 MN has a big responsibility heading into this semifinal, especially against an East Grand Forks team that has been tough at the net all season. As the senior setter, she’ll need to find ways to keep her hitters in good attacking situations rather than letting the Green Wave block settle in. I’ll be watching how she uses different set locations and tempos to keep the defense guessing, particularly when the pass gives her multiple options. Her ability to recognize a late blocker, find the open pin, or go back to a hitter after a tough swing could be important. Dalager’s experience will also come into play when Thief River Falls gets out of system and needs someone to make a smart decision with the ball. How she manages those situations could have a lot to do with how successful the offense is against East Grand Forks. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas
