Marks (pictured) made a number of good first contacts throughout the game. Marks handled a number of crosses in the Conner win, moving her feet well and beating balls to their spots. She also had some quality serves to keep Cooper out of system. Marks said serving is a huge emphasis from the coaching staff so she focused on hitting balls to the struggling passers.
