June 15th Predictions

June 15th is a big day for the class of 2028, that is the first day that volleyball athletes can receive phone calls and text messages from D1 coaches. It is going to be the start of the recruiting journey for these girls, and one we can't wait to see unfold!   Arizona should have a ton of kids who are going to get text and phone calls the moment June 15th rolls around! We are expecting about 20-30 kids who are going to have that phone ring within the first 12 hours, some from multiple D1 universities but overall it will be a great day for the AZ class of 2028. We wanted to take some time to talk about a few kids who should expect to hear that phone ring from those D1 schools on that day!    It is pretty easy to assume that Amari will be getting a text at 12:01am from multiple D1 schools asking to set up phone calls throughout the day. She is a dominate and I mean dominate middle for this age group and not just in AZ but across the nation. She creates a highlight reel every time she steps onto the floor with her offensive and defensive abilities. She is someone that needs multiple blocks to slow down as she isn't going to be stopped by a one person block.   On the defensive side Amari has some elite lateral movement along the net, allowing her to stay involved in transition and close blocks effectively pin-to-pin. She reads hitters well, tracks setters with discipline, and routinely takes away high-percentage swings with strong hand positioning and disciplined footwork. You could make the argument she is the best blocker regardless of class in the state of AZ.   The long-term ceiling here is extremely high. She already looks comfortable competing against top national-level talent and continues to elevate her play in important moments. As her strength and consistency continue to develop, she projects as a high-level college middle with the potential to become one of the more heavily recruited players in the 2028 class.     Annabelle will have no shortage of suitors looking to sign her in the coming years. She plays with a strong mix of physicality and discipline that is uncommon for her age. At the net, she does an excellent job sealing blocks and forcing hitters into difficult shots, while offensively she continues to show improvement running quick sets and finishing at a high percentage. Her footwork, lateral movement, and ability to stay engaged point after point have made her a player coaches trust to impact winning volleyball.   As an attacker, she is explosive in transition and plays comfortably in multiple tempos. She gets off the floor quickly, stays available for setters, and consistently scores with pace and range. Her ability to stay aggressive even in broken plays stands out, and she shows flashes of becoming a true offensive centerpiece instead of just a traditional middle option.   College coaches are going to especially drawn to her upside because she still has so much room to develop physically and technically. With her motor, competitive mindset, and ability to influence both sides of the ball, it's easy to understand why several Division I schools are expected to be heavily involved once communication opens on June 15th.     Our top libero in the class, Anabelle will see her fair share of calls and texts throughout the day. Normally liberos are one of the last to be recruited, but not Anabelle, she should be on top of some recruiting boards and get a ton of offers early.   One thing about her game that will help is her court presence and feel for the game. She reads hitters well, reacts quickly in transition, and covers a tremendous amount of floor with her movement and anticipation. In serve receive, she stays composed under pressure and delivers quality passes consistently, allowing her team to stay in system throughout matches.   Division I programs are especially drawn to the combination of consistency, toughness, and long-term upside she offers. Even at a young age, she plays with maturity and confidence that translate well to the college level. With communication opening on June 15th, she is expected to hear from several programs looking for a libero who can anchor a defense and make an immediate impact down the road.     Mikaela has all the physical tools schools are looking for in a middle, she has height, length, explosion, and she is physical at the net. She is going to be a big time target come June 15th.   A big reason why is that she reads hitters well defensively, moves laterally with ease, and plays with the kind of urgency coaches want from a middle blocker at the next level. Offensively, she continues to expand her range and has shown the ability to score in transition while remaining efficient throughout long matches. She is a middle who can fit into any college program whether they are looking for a top level blocker, or an offensive force. She is able to do both and at a extremely high level.   What has college programs excited most is the long-term ceiling she brings. She already competes with confidence against high-level competition (she plays up in age), but still has major growth potential as she continues developing strength and experience. With June 15th approaching, she is expected to receive strong Division I interest from programs looking for a middle with both immediate talent and future upside.     As June 15th gets closer, Izzie has become a name that continues to gain traction with Division I programs across the country. She has built a reputation as a dependable, high motor defender who consistently stabilizes her team in serve receive while making difficult defensive plays look routine.   Izzie serve receive ability is what immediately stands out. She reads servers early, stays balanced through contact, and consistently delivers clean, accurate passes against high-level pace. Even when teams target her heavily, she remains composed and efficient, showing advanced platform control and the ability to keep her team in system. Defensively, she covers an impressive amount of court with quick reactions and elite anticipation that you don't see from a ton of liberos.   She already looks capable of competing in high-level national matchups while still having significant room for growth physically and technically. As college coaches begin reaching out on June 15th, expect her to be one of the defensive specialists that programs prioritize early because of her ability to impact winning at a high level.     As June 15th approaches, Kallie has emerged as one of the most complete prospects in her class and is expected to draw major attention from Division I programs.   Throughout the club season, she consistently proved herself as a true six-rotation player capable of impacting matches in every phase of the game. Her ability to score offensively while also handling serve receive and defensive responsibilities at a high level has made her a priority recruit for many college coaches. The full 6 rotational outside who can do everything at a high level are tough to come by, but Kallie can do all of that and then some!   What makes her recruitment so exciting is the combination of current production and future upside. She already impacts matches like an upperclass player, but her physical development and overall game are still trending upward. As June 15th arrives, expect multiple Division I programs to prioritize contact with an outside hitter who has all the tools to become a high-level college player in the future.     A dynamic six-rotation outside hitter in the 2028 class, she has firmly established herself as one of the top overall recruits expected to receive heavy Division I attention beginning June 15th. Her game is built around versatility, athleticism, and high-level competitiveness, and she consistently impacts matches in every phase.   What makes her especially valuable is her versatility and competitive consistency. She attacks with confidence from multiple areas of the court, plays with a high volleyball IQ, and shows the ability to take over stretches of matches against strong competition. In the back row, she remains steady and composed in serve receive while bringing strong defensive range and effort. Coaches are going to be drawn to the way she competes point after point and how much responsibility she can handle for her team.   The long-term upside here is extremely high. She combines physical tools with advanced court awareness, emotional maturity, and a strong competitive edge that coaches love to see in elite recruits. As June 15th approaches, she projects as a prospect that will generate significant national recruiting attention from high-major programs     Makenzie will quickly become one of the more heavily followed recruits heading into the June 15th contact period. She has all the physical tools and technique that top level D1 programs are going to look for in a pin hitter.   For starters offensively, she plays with a confident and aggressive mentality while still maintaining efficiency throughout matches. She attacks with good range, elevates well, and has shown the ability to score from both the front and back row. Beyond the offense, her passing and defensive consistency make her a true six-rotation player who rarely leaves the court.   The long-term upside is what continues to separate her from many players in the class. She already has the physical tools and skill set that translate well to the next level, but still has plenty of room for growth as she develops. With June 15th nearing, she is expected to receive strong interest from Division I schools looking for a dynamic outside hitter who can contribute in all six rotations and elevate the level of play around her.     Middles seem to be a common thread in this class, and Gabriella would be a top middle in a lot of other states and should get her fair share of calls and texts on June 15th. I am sure multiple Division I programs have already identified her as a priority recruit thanks to her combination of size, athleticism, and high-level offensive potential.   She consistently impacts matches at the net with her ability to close blocks, run quick-tempo attacks, and create matchup problems against opposing middles. She attacks with range, generates excellent arm speed, and has the ability to score from multiple areas of the court. She can terminate cleanly when given openings but also uses shots, angles, and vision effectively against organized defenses. She plays fast in transition, stays available to setters, and consistently produces against top-level competition.   Gabriella projects as a prospect that will generate significant national recruiting attention from high-major programs searching for a true impact middle hitter capable of contributing early at the collegiate level.
