Tiana Hester Tiana Hester 5'8" | OH/RS Hamilton | 2028 State AZ has been a name we’ve enjoyed following over the last season, and her performance at the Stock Up Showcase only gave us more reasons to keep watching. She’s an intelligent, impactful player who sees the court extremely well and plays with a confident presence. Tiana understands how to make herself valuable in every rotation, and her ability to contribute in so many different areas of the game continues to stand out.

There is some real talent in Tiana’s back-row game. She’s incredibly well-versed defensively, looks comfortable and composed in serve receive, and brings another dimension to the offense with her ability to attack effectively out of the back row. She reads the game well, moves with purpose, and isn’t afraid to step in and make a play when her team needs it. Her ball control and defensive abilities give her the opportunity to remain an impact player regardless of where she is in the rotation. While she may be undersized compared to some of the pins she competes against, she certainly doesn’t play that way. She makes up for it with athleticism, power, and an impressive ability to place the ball. She sees the block and the defense well, allowing her to find open court and score in different ways rather than relying solely on power. That combination of volleyball IQ and offensive versatility makes her a difficult player to defend.

Tiana brings a well-rounded skill set and a competitive presence that consistently allows her to make an impact. We’re excited to continue following her development and can’t wait to see the difference she makes for Hamilton this season.

Tiana made huge strides in this latest update going from 38 to 17 this go around. Anytime you can make a leap into the top 20 you are doing some great things with your game.

Tiana has all the buzz words attached to her, she is athletic, dynamic, explosive, and dominate. When you watch her play you can see all of this in her game. She is an amazing offensive weapon who can terminate balls on command whether she is in system or out of system. I love how she can run all the sets on the outside but also run any type of set in a free ball play to a high level. She sees the court well and can use her off speed stuff when the defense is playing back on her as well.

She has the all around game down as well, and gets a lot of touches in defense with opposing teams hitters. She has amazing footwork and lateral movement that allows her to get side to side in the back row to help get touches on the ball to keep her team in system. Most importantly as a pin she is able to pass in serve receive and hold her on to play all 6 rotations.

Tiana made some big strides this club season so far and we have taken notice at Prepdig, expect her to continue to play at a high level and maybe even move up some more in our next update!
