Makenzie is now currently ranked as the 74th best overall prospect in the 2028 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays for Providence Classical High School and also plays for the Houston Skyline volleyball club. There are a few things that we know of for sure in this life. Everyone must pay taxes and when Miss Turosik signs up for a showcase, she will earn a Top Performer award. I make sure that she has a different court coach each time and it never fails that the new coach selects her as one of their nominees due to her work ethic, individual ball control performance, and attitude toward team chemistry. Her posture is always very disciplined as she moves toward the ball and during contact as well. What we truly love about her game is how she uses a very high volleyball IQ to be in the correct position to play the ball and also in her delivery of it to the next player whether that is the setter or giving the hitter the second ball during out of system plays. Because of her consistency over the past few years, she has not only earned this award, but we just awarded her placement amongst the state’s best as well.
