Scheyer featured for the Episcopal team that produced an undefeated campaign of five wins. The junior managed to remain productive offensively by making great use of her long arms to overcome opponents and put the ball down. Scheyer also demonstrated great vision up at the net when opposing middles went up with her, hitting sharp angles while not losing power. Her game was also a factor defensively, as she moved very well at the net, got many stuffs at the pins and was always read to deal with overpasses and oversets.

Scheyer was part of the Houston Skyline 16 White team that dominated the division, ranking first with three wins and no sets lost. She offered them a massive presence at the net and was probably the best blocker in the entire division. Scheyer was excellent at reading plays, very quick to get off the floor and used her long arms extremely well, getting many touches on the ball, registering some stops and generating transition plays for her team. She also did well offensively, using her high contact point very well and finding nice angles in her swings.
