About Mallory

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My gameplay style is competitive and aggressive. I love putting in all the effort I can to put any and every ball away. I also love to be smart with where I place every ball whether its a tip off the blockers hands or a deep tip in corners.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Although i’m competitive, I love to be uplifting and supportive. My personality is highly encouraging and I will always be the first one to help my teammates and reassure them when they get caught in their head. I love bringing a positive and energetic presence onto the court no matter how good or bad we are loosing or winning.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Last year, I was in National Junior Honor Society, (NJHS) and was awarded for that. To get there, it took me 20 hours of volunteering with a 4.0 GPA. I love to help out in absolutely any way I can for any reason.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

The qualities I’ve developed through volleyball is encouragement and communication along with many other key traits. I picked these two because they are so incredibly important for not only sports, but for life too.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

A significant challenge I’ve faced is having sports induced and non-allergenic asthma. Being an athlete with lung issues has always affected me and my sports life. However, I try to always pull through and execute my responsibilities in volleyball as best as I can.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that is in state and will help me grow not only as a player but as a person as well.
