I’ve been keeping up with Tierney on social media, so I was thrilled to finally watch her in person at the camp. Her vertical jump more than compensates for any doubts about her height. During hitting drills, she showcased her powerful swing, consistently hitting deep cross-court to zone 5 and 6. When faced with blocks during gameplay, she often found ways to maneuver around or power through them. Her athleticism and agility were evident as she moved swiftly on the court during drills. She stood out impressively among her peers, and I’m excited to see her in action again during the upcoming high school season.
