Friesen, a junior for the Olympians, is an incredibly impressive setter with bouncy fingers and a great vertical. It tough situations where the pass is too tight to the net, Friesen unleashes her stellar one-handed set, making plays when they seem impossible execute. She sees the court well, running her offense fast whilst also being apart of the offense when she is front row.

Friesen, the #1 recruit in Oregon for the class of 2027, was on fire during the showcase. Friesen runs a fast offense and was able to easily keep up with athletes from the classes of 2025 and 2026. She has great hands and can push the ball from pin to pin effortlessly, and she places the ball nearly perfectly with each set. Friesen also connected well with different attackers on Saturday.

Friesen also has such an impressive court presence, bringing confidence and skill to the game and leading her team well.

We watched Friesen run a 6-2 for NPJ Salem 15-1 National at Regionals. Friesen is an excellent all-around player, and she excels in the setting position. With great, strong hands and solid footwork, Friesen places her sets really well. She’s also very powerful and dangerous when attacking from the right side.
