, a Class of 2028 outside hitter and defensive specialist for Flintridge Sacred Heart, has been making her mark with a strong serving game. Through 27 sets she has delivered 41 service aces on 143 attempts, averaging 1.5 per set with a 28.7 percent ace rate. That level of production from the service line creates immediate scoring opportunities and consistently disrupts the rhythm of opposing serve receive units.
Recinos brings more than just a dangerous serve. At 5’4” with a 23-inch vertical, she contributes in both back row and defensive roles, showing versatility that helps her team cover multiple rotations. A product of SG Elite at the club level, she adds training experience against high-level competition and carries herself with the work ethic and consistency that coaches value. Her combination of technical skill, effort, and adaptability makes her a reliable long-term prospect. ~ Michelle Bamford @Coachable247

, a 2028 defensive specialist from SG Elite 16 Roshambo and Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy, embraced the opportunity to compete at the Championship Performance Advantage All Star Event. She appreciated the high level of competition and the chance to apply everything she has worked on in training. Working with Coach Chris Austin gave her a new perspective on how to read the game more clearly and let go of past mistakes to focus on the present. His guidance helped her sharpen her mindset and approach the court with clarity and confidence.
Peyton hopes college coaches see her as a scrappy defender with a strong presence in serve receive and an undeniable love for the game. She brings constant energy, lifts up her teammates, and plays with heart every point. Off the court, she stays active, loves food, especially boba, and enjoys playing other sports just for fun. ~ Michelle Bamford @Coachable247

! I am currently an 8th grader playing for SG Elite 15 Roshambo as a Outside Hitter/Libero. I started playing club when I was 7 years old as a libero and fell in love with the game instantly. It was about three years ago when my dream came true and I transitioned to the outside hitter position. That was about the time when I really started becoming serious about wanting to play volleyball in college.
My favorite quote from Kobe Bryant is, “Hard work outweighs talent every time.” Despite being an undersized outside hitter, I knew I would need to increase my vertical, get faster, and stronger to be able to compete.
So that is what I did! My training consists of club practices, running hills, plyometrics, agility, basic volleyball fundamentals, and increasing my volleyball IQ.
I want to inspire others that anything can be possible if you put the work in. I may not have the height or ability to hit the 10 feet line, but being able to accurately place my shots, tooling the block, getting touches on the block, and having strong defense skills I feel makes me just as effective as other outside hitters. Also, being able to play two positions gives me the ability to change positions if needed.
Finally, my goal is to play volleyball in college and be a part of the USA Women’s National Team to compete in the Olympics for a gold medal one day.
Upcoming tournaments:
Salt Lake City Showdown (4/6-4/8)
Regional Bid Event 5/4-5/5)
SCVA Championship (6/1-6/2)
Girls Junior National Championships in Vegas (7/8-7/11).

Peyton Recinos is being highlighted for her fearless attitude towards defense and her willingness to sacrifice her body to make defensive plays by diving, digging, and sliding on the ground, going after balls. Coached by Yvette Ybarra and Maria Olilang, she understood the importance of making defensive plays to keep the ball off the ground and was willing to throw herself to the floor to save a point for her team. She is proactive in reading the opponent’s attacks, anticipating where the ball will be hit, and positioning herself to make a play. When she saw an opportunity to make a dig or a pass, Recinos reacted quickly and decisively, often diving to reach the ball. While diving for the ball requires courage and commitment, it also requires skill and technique which she used to execute properly.
