Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I’m a fierce, high-energy setter running a 5-1 on a national team, and I’ve always played in an older age division. I’m scrappy, quick, and I go after every ball that should be mine no matter what. My teammates count on me to be the captain and run the offense, and I take pride in leading with confidence, grit, and smart decision-making on the court.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I’m a driven, disciplined athlete who brings the same intensity to the classroom as I do on the court or sand (I play beach as well). As a multi-sport athlete, I thrive under pressure, love to compete, and constantly push myself to grow. I’m a team-first player with a focused, coachable mindset and a strong commitment to both my academics and athletics.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
National Junior Honor Society
Zion Church Youth Group
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
Through sports and school, I’ve developed strong leadership and communication skills—especially as a setter, where I have to guide my team and make quick decisions under pressure. I’ve learned the value of teamwork, staying positive, and lifting others up, both on and off the court. I also give back through community service, whether it’s volunteering at youth camps or supporting local causes.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
I have had to leave a sport that I absolutely loved (basketball) because it was getting to be too much pressure, time away, and I was feeling injury prone. It is a challenge to leave my classmates and teammates as I was their point guard and leading scorer. I have also had to always be in a position of proving myself. I play up an age group and am expected to compete at that level.
What type of college are you looking for?
I am looking for a college that passes the "broken-leg" test. If I wasn't able to play volleyball, I would want to still love the school and campus. I want to go to a large, public university where I can learn and experience more culture and things that I don't see in a small town.
