Waverly’s efficient offense wields a wicked combination of seasoned veterans and rising underclassmen. Landon leads the group of seniors and is playing some of the best volleyball of her career at the middle blocker spot. She’s chipping in with about two kills per set and has upped her hitting efficiency to a 0.371 clip. Landon’s lateral quickness makes her an ideal weapon on slide attacks, spreading Waverly’s two-hitter offense from pin to pin. The Vikings sit fourth in the Class B wildcard standings and have gained serious momentum heading into the postseason.

Landon has been one of the unsung heroes of Waverly’s recent offensive success. The veteran middle blocker emerged as one of Nebraska’s most efficient attackers last year and posted a 0.368 hitting clip. Waverly will deploy a new setter this year, but that likely won’t stop Landon’s progress as a frontcourt weapon. Look for the Vikings to produce a Class B upset bid with seniors like Landon leading the way.

Nebraska ONE 17 Black is clearly a team to watch for uncommitted gems. Landon was a key piece of Nebraska ONE ‘s offensive onslaught in Kansas City, and this middle blocker found more than one way to get it done. 17 Black used Landon on gap plays throughout the event. This connection was tough to stop as opposing blockers struggled to lineup up against Landon’s deceptive approach. The stage is set for more gains at GJNC–and at Waverly High School soon after.

We’ll remain in Class B for our final entry in Part 1. Landon’s exceptional junior year kept Waverly in the postseason discussion for yet another fall season. She finished the regular season with nearly 200 kills and was also the most productive Viking blocker. Landon uses her lateral quickness to work around opposing blockers to score. She’ll use that same strength to close blocks from pin to pin, which is part of the reason why Landon churned out so many blocks for Waverly’s defense.

We’ll have a lot of middle involvement for this feature. Landon is another junior who has climbed the 2025 hierarchy with her brilliant junior season with Waverly. She neared 200 kills on the year to go along with a team-leading block total. She seemed to thrive as a veteran member of a talented Vikings team, so we’re already optimistic about Landon’s potential senior production, too.
