A change of venue did not slow Quinn’s recruiting momentum. Rather, this Waverly star seized command of the Nebraska ONE 17 Black backcourt and brought the team to new heights on the USAV circuit. Her steady platform guided 17 Black to a bid-earning triumph at NEQ and a championship run at the Windy City Qualifier. Another deep run followed at USAV Nationals. The moral of the story is that Quinn has seen plenty of elite volleyball throughout her career, and she’ll see even more at Midland University.

Shouldering a leading libero role with a new team can be daunting. Fortunately, Quinn has the skill and intangible qualities needed to make this transition work. Nebraska ONE 17 Black made an ambitious trek to Philadelphia for the Northeast Qualifier, and Quinn ensured her team would capitalize on the journey. Her pinpoint first contacts and smooth secondary setting paved the way for 17 Black to clinch a 17 USA berth, backing up what 17 Synergy accomplished in 17 Open. The Lincoln area is still finding ways to raise its stock among the Star City’s steely veterans.

We’ve documented Quinn’s influential role among Waverly’s laundry list of 2027 stars. She commanded last year’s Waverly backcourt and has somehow upgraded her numbers further this fall. Quinn has already reached triple-digit digs while compiling over five per set against quality competition. This defensive dominance has shown up in the win column with Waverly racing out to an undefeated start. The Vikings are a complete group with Quinn handling first contacts.

Quinn has already set a high bar for herself. She stepped into Waverly’s starting libero spot as a sophomore and was among Nebraska’s most productive prep liberos. Now, Quinn is back to business with VCNebraska 16 Black and helped her team reach Omaha’s final Gold bracket. This instinctive defender has an uncanny ability to control balls outside her midline and deliver the ball right on top of the setter. 16 Black’s transition offense thrived whenever Quinn was the one picking up digs, and that leadership ought to persist throughout the 2025 campaign. Another trip to Nationals could be looming.

We’ve hyped up Waverly’s sophomore stars here before. The front row is loaded with stars, but don’t forget about Quinn’s underclassman influence in this year’s backcourt. She led all Nebraska sophomores in digs per set and total digs–all against some of the state’s most electrifying offenses. The next goal for Quinn is to collect more club hardware with VCNebraska .
