Ross improved greatly this school season, mainly in the backrow and being able to pass 3s in serve receive and defense. Her hitting game has always been on point with her ability to bang the ball on the outside but also know when to tip and throw in a roll shot. After her final season of club, Ross will go on to play Division One at New Mexico State.

Ross, an outside for Jesuit, had an amazing weekend. Without a doubt she is one of the go-to hitters on her team, ripping the ball and scoring big points. Ross has improved greatly this season on her defense and serve receive, remaining calm and composed and taking balls with her platform. When a tough block is up, Ross knows how to hit off hands, tip or chip and score.

Ross, a senior for Jesuit and commit to New Mexico State, placed fourth in the vote for top outside in Oregon. Ross plays with fire, jumping incredibly high and swinging away. She plays smart, mixing in tips and tricks when necessary and banging the ball whenever she gets the chance.

This recent New Mexico State commit is a huge asset to Jesuit’s varsity squad. Her vertical is stellar, allowing her to hit over the block and find the ground. She passes well in serve receive, allowing her to be an option in the backrow if needed. She has great vision of the court, adding in tips and tricks to challenge the other side.

This first-team all state winner and back-to-back state champion is returning to the Crusaders as a senior. Ross is a six rotation player who knows how to be an impactful pin with her hard hits, accurate digs and powerful blocks. Ross made the Metro League First Team All-League selections this past season.

Ross is an outside who has taken major strides in her game this season. She has a heavy arm and moves the ball well, showing great growth in her attacking range.

Her resume speaks for itself, varsity starter at Jesuit, key contributor for NPJ 17-1, two-time 6A State Champion, Championship Player of the Match, 6A First Team All-State, UA Next Series participant, and AVCA Phenom. Her offensive and defensive fundamentals are solid, and she’s clearly ready for the next step in her volleyball journey.

“I had the absolute best time training with Coach Kiy and a fantastic group of D1 athletes this past weekend,” Sadie shared. “The biggest takeaway I got was how much energy is created and fostered in an environment where everyone is pushing each other to play the best we can, at the highest level possible. This opportunity gave me great feedback on things I can do to succeed at a higher level and reminded me of the things I do well, but how to raise the bar of those things as well. Going back to my own practices, I’ll be bringing more energy and a higher level of play to continue to foster that competitive environment in my club and school teams. Ross has hung in the top of the 2026 rankings and recently moved to the third highest-ranked outside hitter, according to PrepDig Oregon rankings. With an aggressive approach and a heavy arm, she proves lethal from both pins. She exhibits creative shots to work around the block or will use the block to her advantage, tooling or swinging high hands. However, Ross hammers away when the net is left open, crushing the ball into the open court. She exudes confidence and competitive fire on the court.
