Denson (pictured) played a big role in helping the E-Gals control the net in every game Saturday, especially the championship game against Evansville Christian. Denson reads hitters well and aggressively goes after balls at the net. Denson works well with teammates to form tough double blocks and also makes things happen offensively. Denson deposits ones to different areas of the court and tips balls to open shallow parts of the court when opponents are playing back for hard shots. Denson said it was important to stay strong even when trailing and things worked out.

Savannah stepped up when it mattered with sound consistent play for her team. She has hustle on the court and a big drive to make plays happen. She has a solid block with good timing for the front line and possess a beautiful cross court swing which she can deliver in tight to the net and repeatedly, and she will destroy an overpass in a quick moment. She provides good cover and follows the play well with excellent court IQ and tenacity. She puts in an all out effort and brings a lot to the court with her energy and positivity. Savannah is one to have on your team not to play against.
