The senior’s solid performance helped Fulshear dominate the middle and win the battle at the net, paving the way for a strong victory. Hitting somewhat of a higher set in the middle, Harris was very efficient, too, and played an important role in the Chargers’ offense. She did a good job of getting off the floor of using the extra second generated by her hang time to look across the net and find the best option to score, either swinging or tipping efficiently. Harris also had a solid blocking display, moving well at the net and getting to the pins on time to get in the way of opposing hitters.

The senior had an excellent performance in the middle and helped Fulshear dominate the net. Harris played an important role for the team with her strong blocking as she dominated Fulshear’s middles and made their opponents much more predictable. She did a great job of reading plays at the net and quickly getting off the floor to get stops. Harris also contributed offensively, reaching a good rate for her swings.

The 5’9″ hitter doesn’t let her height hold her back. She uses her incredible athleticism to play multiple positions, making her a true utility and all-around player. Her powerful swing to the deep 5 corner consistently challenges defenders with its speed and precision. She’s a competitor who brings energy and versatility every time she steps on the court. We’re excited to see her continue to shine throughout club season and can’t wait to watch her take her game to the next level.

Harris’ Texas Legacy 17 Elite team is entered in the 17 Open division this weekend. She joined the club this season, coming from Houston Juniors , and has been filling differnet spots for them, appearing in the middle and both pins. Harris emerged as a solid middle in the Houston area over the last few years, using her incredible athleticism to battle much taller players at the net. She has excellent footowork, being capable of adjust in transition plays, and is also an incredible jumper. Her offense is very well-rounded and she makes an impact with her blocking too, using her mobility and intensity to get stops at the net.
