has firmly caught the attention of college coaches across the country — and for good reason. A selection and participant in the NCR RTDP, Blackcloud continues to show she belongs among the region’s most complete prospects. What separates Sheyanne immediately is her versatility. If there were a ranking for true utility players, she would sit at the top. She has stepped into every role on the floor (outside of setting) and consistently produced, whether asked to stabilize serve receive, defend, or terminate from the pin.
Blackcloud’s all-around game continues to stand out at exposure camps and national qualifiers. Her work ethic, coachability, and team-first mentality are consistently mentioned by coaches who watch her compete. She carries one of the strongest passing ratings in the class, controls first contact with confidence, and brings value well beyond the stat sheet. Offensively, she adds another layer — attacking with depth, pace, and the ability to read defenders and adjust late, which keeps opponents guessing.
As she continues through the recruiting process and visits programs across the country, one thing remains clear: Blackcloud makes teams better. She brings consistency, versatility, and presence every time she steps on the floor. From a projection standpoint, she profiles as a collegiate contributor who can impact multiple phases early in her career. ~PrepDigStaff

Why do you want to play college volleyball?
~I want to play college volleyball to compete at a higher level, grow as a player, and be part of a driven team culture while earning my degree.
What does your training schedule look like in-season and off-season?
~In season, I train daily with my team, lift/cardio 3 days a week, and meet with my trainer for film and skill work. Off-season, I practice with my club 3x a week, lift 4x a week, and do weekly lessons and film review to keep improving on skill and knowledge of the game.
How do you balance school, sports, and your personal life?
~Balancing school and sports has definitely helped me grow. Traveling two hours to club practice and getting home around midnight pushed me to manage my time better and stay focused. At first, it was a lot to juggle with school, but I found a rhythm that works for me. Getting my workouts in can be tricky, so I’ve learned to make the most of my mornings—training before school at 5:30 a.m. twice a week has become part of my routine. I also really value time with my friends, and while this summer is super important for my goals, I’ve learned how to make smart sacrifices. At the same time, I make sure to take breaks, step away from volleyball when I need to, and just enjoy being a normal teenager. Finding that balance keeps me grounded and motivated.
What are your strengths and weaknesses as a player?
~One of my strengths is staying composed under pressure, even when I’m still figuring things out. A challenge I’m working on is overthinking—I’m learning to trust my instincts and play with confidence.
What are your academic interests or intended major?
~Businesses/Marketing/Accounting
