Sophia is a right side who I initially got to see play at the Prep Dig Gauntlet last season, and she has only continued to rise on my radar. She is a smart hitter with a lot of power. Sophia is a naturally talented blocker who sets up the block well and gets consistently productive touches on the ball. She has the potential to play all six rotations. What stands out to me about Sophia’s play is her ability to make big plays in pressure moments. Her teammates can rely on her to make big plays on offense and defense.

Sophia is a powerhouse pin who exploded onto my radar earlier this club season. She impressed me at nationals and then again at the showcase. Sophia plays incredible offense and defense on the right side though she could play on either pin and even six rotations. She can terminate against massive blocks and puts up a nearly impenetrable block herself.

Sophia was one of the first on my list for day 1 and was right there again on day 2. She is an incredibly impactful right side who swings tough angles and is efficient with every ball she gets. It doesn’t matter if it is a perfect set or an out-of-system ball. Sophia will find a way to earn points. She has a big approach and high-level court awareness. She is also a talented blocker.
