Sophie Kaercher Sophie Kaercher 5'7" | S/RS Austin | 2028 MN can make you defend more than one part of the net. She gets her pins involved, but I really like when she can establish something through the middle because it changes what the block can get away with. Once Kaercher has multiple hitters available, she has options, and that’s where she can be fun to watch. She’s showing a nice feel for distributing the ball and not allowing an offense to become too predictable. ~Theresa@prepdigdakotas

Kaearcher is a new setter to jump onto my radar and she made a strong first impression. She has soft hands and consistently delivers smooth, hittable sets that put her attackers in good positions to score. She does a nice job moving the ball around the court, keeping all of her hitters involved while making it difficult for defenses to key in on just one attacker. She also isn’t afraid to attack on the second ball by mixing in well timed setter dumps that keep blockers honest. Overall, she is a confident setter with a great feel for running the offense.
